I’m a Korean-American biker artist and writer, from the north side of Chicago, called “Korea Town.” I currently live in North Carolina and work in graphic design.
In 2001, I earned my BA in Computer Graphics from Northeastern Illinois University, with a Minor in Criminal Justice. In 2006, I earned my MFA in 3D Computer Animation from the Academy of Art in San Francisco.
After graduation, I enlisted into the Army National Guard and deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. My combat experiences have shaped who I am today and my artwork explores my identity as an Asian-American woman.
